How to Make Tilapia Fillets

Ingredients:
- Fresh tilapia fillets
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Lemon juice
- Olive oil or butter

Instructions:
1. Prepare the FilletsRinse the tilapia fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. Season the FilletsLightly season both sides of the fillets with salt, black pepper, and any other desired spices such as garlic powder or paprika. Drizzle or brush the fillets with lemon juice for a fresh flavor.
3. Heat the PanHeat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil or butter until hot but not smoking.
4. Cook the FilletsPlace the fillets in the skillet skin side down if the skin is on. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, without moving, so the fillet forms a nice crust.
5. Flip and Cook the Other SideCarefully flip the fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and looks opaque throughout.
6. ServeRemove the fillets from heat. Optionally squeeze additional lemon juice over the top and garnish with fresh herbs.
